Weigh In:
I have been sorely lacking in motivation this week. I had a back weekend, and a stressful few days (everything kept breaking in our house). I tend to stress eat, and then feel guilty later. This is attributed to my unhealthy relationship with food. Tuesday, I jumped back on the band wagon, did good, lost some, went to aerobics. I have been walking, but not doing anything else. So this week's official weigh in is:
184.6 so basically the same. I have to survive those weekends, any pointers or challenges from anyone?
PLEASE! I need help!

Another Challenging Weekend... and whats this? A CONTEST!!
Ok, well we all know that everyone loves getting free stuff. Its awesome. We all love it. So I thought that why not give something to promote our health and wellness. All you have to do is comment, and I will put you all in a big drawing.
The two winners will get a choice between the Weight Watchers Pedometer (It has a stop watch, stride tracker, counts your steps, and tells you how far you've walked, if you do WW, it will also tell you how many points you burned) and the Turbo Jam workout DVD
How to Win?
Just comment on my blog between now and Wednesday, April 29th at NOON. If you give me a shout out on your blog, you can comment again (and have two entries)
Good Luck!!
Oh and I WILL lose weight this weekend. You just watch! I am down a total of 2 lbs (14 more to go to the first goal)

Weigh In. One Week Down... so many more to go
When I gave my life to Christ April 20, 2001 (really 8 years already??). Lets just say I enjoyed the young group food a little to much, combined with not playing any sports anymore, and it makes a porky teenager. Weighing in at 175.
Then when I went to Purdue in 2004, I decided not to gain the freshmen 15. And when you have no money, and bring all your food from home (thanks mom!) you don't just go and splurge on junk food. I started going to the gym, and eating better and lost 15 pounds the first semester. So Here I am at 165.
Then the proposal came in December and I unfortunately didn't lose tons of weight from the stress, like I had planned. :) I did however over the next months from working on the house and stuff lose another 5 lbs. This put me at 160.
Then I packed the weight back on during marriage, gaining back 10 lbs, putting me at 170, and there I stayed (well probalby flucuated some) until I got pregnant.
For some reason, every last bit of self control goes out the window when I get pregnant.
I gained 45 lbs with Crew (and HE only weight 7 lbs 8 oz.)
*This first picture was right after delivery, so I'm a little more poofy than normal.
The by July 4th (9 months later) I had lost it all again.
Now with Ridge, I gained about the same, just a few pounds more (48 lbs... eeek). Within the first two weeks after having him I lost 25 lbs. And now he's 7 weeks old and I have lost 33 lbs. Its NOT falling off anymore, thats for sure.
Last week my weight was 186.6 and this week 185.0. Hot diggity! Its not much but I have budged of that plateau I was on. Also I have lost a total of 2 inches (spread throughout my body) too in the last two weeks.
My GOALS:
First Goal: Prepregnancy weight: 170 (15 lbs to go...by July 4th)
Wedding Weight: 160 (by Crew's Birthday, September 27)
Goal Weight: 150-155 (by Christmas)

Week 1 Day 2
My relationship with food:
This is my first step on what I need to change. I admit it, I'm a 3:00 pm binger. I find myself bored and hungry (or having an appetite) and munching, with guilt to follow. I have some signs of a food addict. I'm hoping this diet and blog will be a good solution for me.
Here is what I am doing:
A Low Calorie, Low fat diet (like Weight Watchers)
Writing down the food I eat
I have my Mom for an accountability partner (we share what foods we eat)
I count calories, portions, and fats.
I also keep track of how many fruits, veggies, dairy, proteins, and fats I have.
I take a multi-vitamin once a day.
I try to walk, get on the exercise bike, or strength train around 3 times a week (I know I need to increase this).
I have portioned out fruit, cereal, carrots, snak foods in bags (thanks Suzie!) and it has helped so much.
I will no longer drink my calories (no juice!)
And My Weekend Challenge:
Tonight is POTLUCK.... so it will be challenging. My goal, eat only one portion except for veggies, no cheesy anything, no dessert (maybe a bite of Andy's), and be careful with the snack (maybe popcorn if they have it). Keep me accountable please!!!
Tomorrow night is the Republican HOG ROAST! Yum (not.) so I will really have to watch my meat portion there, and picnic style foods.
Sunday is a family even with the stollers. Thankfully Aimee is making WW Apricot chicken (its French Cuisine night).
Stay tuned... because I may post some "before" pictures if I get bold enough...
