Running.

Well I officially (finally) started running on Monday. Tuesday I went to aerobics. Wednesday did church, and hopefully tonight I will run again. I am kind of on a plateau, so I'm hoping to kind of kick that this week. I will do this to myself. Do really well lose 5 lbs, and then jump of the band wagon (for what reason??) and gain a pound back, then jump back on and be stuck. Its going to be really hard to reach my goal if I don't kick it up a notch. My goal by middle of next week is to be in the 170's. I think I said that a few weeks ago, but that was before I gave up.

Today, weighed in at 181.2 (lost .4 from 3 weeks ago. hmphh.)
Want to be 170 by my birthday (July 11)
163 by September 27 (Crew's Birthday)
155 by Christmas

Kicking myself.

Do you ever just give up? My problem is, I don't give up because I'm not successful, I give up because I am. When I start to lose weight, then I get lazy thinking I can eat or do anything (or nothing) and still lose it because I lost it the week before. NO. That's not how it works. I get so frustrated with myself and my lack of self-control. When I stop posting on this blog, someone needs to call me on it, because it usually means I'm off in some corner with a pint of Rocky Road.
Seriously? Someone call me. I mean it. I have gained like two pounds this week. Gag. Why is it sooo hard to lose and so easy to gain. Today I'm going to do good, and hopefully by tomorrow be at least to the same weight as last week. To have any success I would have to lose 3 lbs. Yeah... not going to happen.

Weekly Weigh In

A good weigh in day. Makes me happy.

The Stats:

Last Week: 184.6
Today: 181.6

Total weight loss since highest pregnancy weight: 36.4 lbs
Weight Loss after one month of blog: 5 lbs.
Inches Lost after one month of blog: 5.25

Pounds to go until first goal: 11.6 (fourth of July is the goal.. hopefully sooner)
Pounds to go until second goal: 21.6 (by the 4 mile run, or Crew's birthday Sept. 27)
Pounds to go until final goal: 27 (by Christmas)

So am I on track? Lets do the math.

8 weeks until July 4th. If I average 1.5 lbs a week then I will lose 12 lbs by July fourth. Thats a lofty goal, but I think I can do it.

Thanks for all the encouragement! This weekend will be especially challenging. Pizza Friday Night, Family event Saturday, Family event Sunday.

You can pray for me.

Thanks

One Small Step toward Success

Ok, so have I established that I am not a runner? I admire runners and truly want to be one (maybe without all the work). I have made a small committment to myself with my husband to do the 4 mile fort-4-fitness walk/run. I plan on running it. I know its not very much but it will make me feel good to complete it. Who knows, maybe next year I will go for the mini.

Any pointers on where to start Jamie?

If anyone wants to join in, Andy and I are doing it. There is also the option of the mini, and it takes place in Fort Wayne on September 26th.

A VICTORIOUS DAY!

Well, After the hard weekends, I finally had a weekend where I came out lower than what I started out. I was kind of dreading to peak at the scale, but am glad I did. I'm feeling a good weigh in.

My Plans for a successful week so far:

Monday: Walk with Hubby tonight and cook a whole chicken and broccoli.
Tuesday: Cook at home (not sure what yet, maybe a taco chicken) and go to aerobics at 7
